Hi there!
I'm Emily, and Dooley Shop is my little corner of the internet.
"Dooley" is what my grandpa called me growing up, so the shop carries his name for me.
I studied studio art in college with a focus on printmaking and a minor in art history, then worked as a graphic designer for years. After that, I changed careers, went into healthcare and wellness, and got my MBA. I ended up missing art and design, so here I am again.
Now I make things for the people I relate to most: fantasy readers, former (or maybe not so former) emo kids, metal fans, and anyone who likes a little art on their everyday stuff.
Some items here are printed on demand, and some I make by hand at home, like lino block prints I carve from my own digital designs.
Every design starts as my own idea, and some are made with design software and AI tools. If AI was used in any part of a design, I'll always say so in the listing.
I'm originally from Charleston, South Carolina, and now live in Jacksonville, Florida.
